DocuDrama
For my drama exam, we are doing a docudrama. Docudramas are based on real events, people or issues in the world. My group has chosen to do a docudrama about homophobic bullying. I’m really excited because we could possibly start something in our school and get a gay/straight alliance going. I know McLaughlin High School has one, but my school doesn’t. We definitely need one too. But we need to make people aware of the problem that is homophobic bullying and I’m excited to do this docudrama. Although we will be doing research and interviews, I’m sure it will go great!
I have so much to contribute to this DocuDrama because of my bisexuality and the bullying I get, and the bullying other LGBTQ people get in my school. It isn’t fair, and you have to raise awareness somehow.
